This month Shop Around illustrator Lennard Schuurmans is featured in D-Zone, a trade journal for designers. Not only that, het got to do the cover aswell. It's a very detailed and colorfull picture of characters, motorcycles and space objects. Now on sale for € 9,95.

Shop Around was approached by Jenny Lane to produce her new video. We've worked with Jenny before on the Whoopsy Daisy video, so we really liked the idea to create new one in a different style. We gave Shop artists Spreadmotion the director's chair and they came up with this non-technical video, using studio projection and handmade props and the slightest bit of animation to tie the scenes together.

Today our guest lecturer is legendary cartoon creator Walt Disney, giving us an insight on how to create cartoons.

I guess we can conclude that we've come a long way since the fifties!
